No todos los actores involucrados en el tema de salud, saben argumentar o exponer sus legítimas necesidades y derechos ante las autoridades gubernamentales en el Mundo y muy particularmente en latino América.
En un seminario que reunió a múltiples actores, celebrado el 23 de agosto de 2014 en Río de Janeiro, Brasil, hubo amplio consenso en que los reguladores de medicamentos y los grupos de pacientes deben colaborar más estrechamente en América Latina.
